Calling All Happy Hour Warriors!

In this economy, with the shortened hours and thinning wallets, I am always in search of great deals, from lunch to happy hour to late nights snacks, and everything in between. Today, I had lunch at a quaint place with spectacular views, a delightful menu, and in a fabulous neighborhood.

The Clarion Porto Vista Hotel in San Diego's Little Italy just opened last summer, and in addition to featuring some of the most luxurious rooms on the North end of the Harbor, their Glass Door restaurant has good eats and great happy hours! I thouroughly enjoyed the Crab Cakes, and hear their wine selection is nothing but divine. Daily, The Glass Door serves up $4 drinks and $6 tapas from 3-7pm, and on Wednesday's, half off wine from lunch till close. With the wine steals, and a stunning San Diego sunset, one couldn't ask for a more ideal Happy Hour spot!

Located at 1835 Columbia St., you have panoramic views of the harbor and downtown skyscrapers, have free parking in the hotel underground lot, and are only a rock's throw away from some genuine Italian coffee & gelato. Now that's what I call perfetto!
